Personally i think Sonny beating up Carlo in The Godfather which i find to be one of the best gangster movies ever looked way too fake when you can clearly tell he's not connecting with the punches WWE style.

Horrible as in horrific and dismal, or horrible as in really badly done?

If it's the latter, then I'll take away my prior post and say:

Ghostbusters Frozen Empire when the girl decides to

[Show spoiler] become a ghost by stepping into a machine made for trinkets, and gives the enemy the chance to free itself. Really horrible choice by a lead character, but thankfully acknowledged shortly after.

Unfortunately, the film wouldn't fit into the "brilliant" category, so nevermind.

Okay, when in Spider-Man No Way Home, which is brilliant to some fans, Peter Parker

[Show spoiler] decides to make everyone forget he's Spider-Man so he can go back to being normal and Dr. Strange stupidly agrees to help him out by casting a spell while Peter is there to interfere, resulting in all the problems caused but the stupid heroes.

Definitely not a brilliant movie IMO.

Can a movie be brilliant and have a horribly bad scene in it?

Darth Vader's "NOOOOOOOOOOO" in Revenge of the Sith. Aside from that laughable moment, terrific film.

The "girl power" scene in the final battle in Avengers Endgame. Complete cringe.

Ill add his badly acted cameo with all the racy language makes Pulp Fiction a hard rewatch too. Its a sore thumb in a genius movie
