That isn't even FUD that's an insult and talking smack.

I don't beleive anyone here fears HD-DVD, but we saw what happened to Paramount. Apparently the shirt will be done without any wording and this shirt is no different than wearing ANY blu-ray shirt. It simply is more artisitic and makes a statement about our support for blu-ray.

We don't fear threats, but Warner threatens to blow the whole format war if they don't see we support blu-ray best. Not just because they see it out sells more than 2 to 1 on the whole. They want to see it improve their own sales! So aside from the shirt, we should also buy Warner movies on blu-ray.

You can make us look like fools and cast doubt with your FUD about the shirt. You don't have to buy it. Just in the same way HD-DVD adopters didn't buy blu-ray, and it didn't hurt us much. In contrast, we bought blu-ray and it DID hurt them.

There is nothing babyish or childish about the design of the shirt. It is very interesting and extremely well done. If we added "Death to HD-DVD" then it becomes a childish problem. You are entitled to your opinion, but let US decide what to buy. Much in the same way no one here can tell you which blu-ray discs to buy. This is still America the last time I checked.

Add a IV bag drip and a tube to the BD logo. Put something like BD+/BD-J on the bag.

See it's one thing to support Blu-Ray. It's another to create a group and call yourselves "Blu-Bloods" and think as if you're some sort of elite FUD/HD-DVD fighting squad. I mean look at your sig. "Better Dead Than Red"? It's not the end of the word if HD-DVD wins. We wont all just randomly die if that happens... at least I hope not. But you guys seem to be treating it as a life and death situation which is sad. I feel sorry for any HD-DVD supporters that run into any of you on the street, I can only imagine the stairdown that would take place.

ha ha. i ain't gangsta but i think you'll find this rap music video interesting. you'll have to fast forward about 30 seconds to get into the actual music video (i think this guy is blu-blooded)

p.s. his song makes reference to the 'blu bloods' - looks like we're catching on fast...

Blu-tiful World

I don't have a problem with Blu-Bloods, if they were actually useful. So far all I've seen from them (when they talk about being Blu-Bloods) have been posts containing words like "HD-Duds" and things like that. None of that is useful. You lose all credibility when trying to explain something technical and you refer to something as HD-Dud. Also, if someone were to be coming to this website, what would they think? "Oh wow... look at these people... they actually have a gang that calls themselves Blu-Bloods lol" At least that's what I would think coming to a website like this.

I think the Use of the words Blu-blood(s) should result in Blu-****** here.
It's just troll bait and totally unnecessary. Like I said, great intentions...but organize that outside of the board, it just spawns trolls. It has a reverse effect.

Cool

Picture a variation of the blu-blood logo looking like liquid metal, slowly pouring and enveloping planet earth. I think that would speak for itself.

Guess what... we just witnessed triple posting troll explaining how BD wont work in his Toshiba player... and about ten non blu-bloods fall for that... I dont think it is us Blu-bloods u need to be shamed about

Would it actually have been better if somebody would have been there yelling TROLL at first post... cause now we did end up looking like horse's *** and that thread made hilarious reading

We take it to extremes, but remember, it is a LOT of tongue in cheek. We take ourselves serious but not THAT serious as we play. I think people like to cue off my humor as I tend to play back.

We are not a gang. We are more like "The Knights of Columbus" for blu-ray. Only without all the donations and guilt.

You do realize he corrected himself and said Samsung player, right? I am confused by what you say again (surprise surprise), how did people look like horse's ***es? Yes, the ones that didn't catch on that Toshiba doesn't make Blu-Ray players might've been a little slow on the uptake, but it's possible we actually helped him, since it was a Samsung player he was talking about. It's been said before, even in this thread, THREADS LIKE THIS WILL BRING TROLLS. They are pointless, they don't educate people and all they do is cause problems on the board. Whether you take yourself "seriously" as a Blu-Blood or not, the same result will come.

Ahh, someone gets it. We are in it for fun. But are also serious in winning and wearing those really cool t-shirts.

Pretty sure we're talking about the same threads here. They were all posted by the same new person. I suppose it would make sense that they would like and say they had a Toshiba player and then lie again and say they had a Samsung player.
