Considering the majority of the film is TV segments, it doesn’t really make sense to release it in 4K for the black and white behind the scenes cutaways.

Interesting. I preordered the Night Owls Fan Club from Umbrella but I'm definitely going to keep my eye on this release.

Not a big mediabook guy but Capelight has been killing it lately. I didn't expect this one to get a 4K. I'll probably blind buy.

Is that rating logo permanently on the front of these books, or does it come off of the wrapping or something like that?

It's usually on the J card only

Thanks! I think I’m going to jump into getting my first mediiabook for this one. I don’t much care for foreign releases/different language menus/ratings etc, but this one deserves to be on the shelf.

That's not quite right. If you watch closely, the TV segments are still pretty detailed for the most part. AFAIK, they just used some filters to give the footage that slightly hazy look of old analog video. It's not like they bounced the TV footage to video and then back to digital (e.g., WNUF Halloween Special).
