I remember seeing this in the theatres. My mom saw the live show at SF candlestick park in 1981.

As a huge Stones fan, this is a dream come true but a shame that Kino of all labels got the rights to this. Bad encoding, horrible sound - both of which can put the nail into the coffin for such a release. Hopefully this is the one time they’d actually put some resources into the audio department as well and do the music justice.

It's licensed from Studiocanal, so it's possible SC may do their own release internationally.

I was there too, George Thorogood opened and was great, J. Geils Band looked hung over. Daylight is not the time for this band to play.

Tower of Power horns came out for the encore of Satisfaction and they did the Otis Redding arrangement.

This first three songs sounded horrible, with a distorted bass drowning everything out. It's as if the Stones were doing their soundcheck during those songs!

It was a good show though after those opening numbers.

Oh yes! Pretty sure this was the first time I saw the Stones. Did Mick go up in a cherry picker out over the crowd?

Awesome news! Great set list and performance. I have the Japanese import on BD, looks very good -- but looking forward to seeing in true Forkay.

Now somebody get LIVE AT THE MAX in the pipeline, because that one would look amazing.
