Yes, but I've read that it takes a while. I'm sure places like Diabolik and Orbit will also carry them.

Someone one Facebook said that it might be "It came from outer space". There is a little square of the cover artwork shown for every of the 6 releases on Facebook. Would also agree this is part of the cover. So no unreleased "new" 3D title, if true.

It could be Dredd (2012), one of the images looks like Judge Dredd with a speech bubble next to him (could be wrong). And the 3D film’s title is shown to have 5 letters.

If not Dredd, what are other 3D movies with a 5-letter title?

Dredd feels right, unfortunately, based on some of their other catalogue. And it’s paramount which it seems like maybe they have a relationship with. Don’t think they’d re-release Venom.

Only other 5 letter title that I really really want to see is Alpha. Though this seems highly unlikely, they do list Sony as a licensing partner as well.

At least the wait is short!

My money on this is Flesh for Frankenstein. It was released as a 4K+3D+2D, and they might have struck a deal to release some vinegar syndrome titles there.

Yeah, it’s most likely DREDD, with five letters. That really does narrow it down.

Dredd to me does not make sense for the simple reason that all current 3D releases also have the movie in 2D on the same disc. That means that Via Vision would be having a third disc with what, the Stallone version? Hum, that actually might be the case.

But if 5 letters is indeed correct, the only other movies I can think of that also have a 4K master are Shrek and Trolls and they have separate 2d and 2d discs.
Would they go into animation?
And hell, why not throw in Alpha, that never had its 4K or 3D editions released. Now that would sell out immediately.

P.s. - I'm not including any Disney animation movies on the list.

I hadn’t heard of ALPHA, but after reading about it just now I’d definitely buy it.

It was supposed to receive a 4K edition back in the day, but Sony decided against it. And it was also released in 3D in cinemas, so there is a 3D master out there.
The current disc also has a director's cut that is much better (to me at least) that the theatrical cut. Would love it in 4K, and would not mind the 3D edition for occasional viewing.

If it’s a 3-D film, I have no need for a 2-D version. I’d always feel like I was missing something.

Whatever title it is can we get some 3D titles that have never been released before and not ones that have been re released a hundred times over.

Dredd had a French release with 2D and 3D on separate discs, but given that the US disc had issues and the UK disc is from EIV so might be a rotter, it's not the worst title to be upgrading even if the 4K disc is a waste of space.

It won't be long until it's old news and the discussion can move to the Dredd thread, I wish it was The Wandering Earth though, especially as they are releasing the sequel.
