ABT Electronics Panny Sale Price - Blu-ray Forum

I emailed ABT a couple of days ago about the Panasonic DMP-BD10 asking if they planned to sell it, because I did not see it listed on their site.

I got a response saying they would be selling it and taking pre-orders at a price of $1299, the MSRP. So I responded that, that is the MSRP, and I wanted to know about any upcoming sale prices or any other discounts off of the MSRP.

I was told that they would honour a pre-order at an 'upcoming sale price' of $1132.00 with free shipping and no tax outside of Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin and Michigan.

If anyone wants, I can forward them the email.

Have it shipped to a friend who lives somewhere else, someone you can trust who can then forward it on to you.

Yeah I know. My frustration is really with my state's newfound insistence that its residents pay sales tax for online purchases. Used to be they didn't care like most states. I guess some numbers guy figured out how much money they weren't making and they all went nuts about it.

Abt is showing a standard price of $ 1208.07 (After 7% Discount) on the Panny.
