I'm in for any reason to see more of Emilio Estevez back on screen too.

I watched it when I was a kid, so the whole "what am I supposed to do now that college is over and I have to be a responsible adult" aspect really didn't click with me. I just saw cool actors being cool. But as an adult, holy crap they were anything but cool. Every character except one is a terrible person that does terrible things, they don't learn anything and then the movie ends.

That’s because the movie really isn’t that good. It’s one of the weaker entries from that era or whatever. Catchy theme song is about it.

Rather see a sixteen candles or breakfast club reunion movie. Or maybe don’t bother.

Not a fan of Breakfast Club either or St. Elmo which is ground zero for the Brat Pack.

I also think Some Kind Of Wonderful is better than Pretty In Pink. Spader is the highlight of Pink. Spader could have been typecast like Wiliiam Zabka, fortunately he was able to enjoy a successful career in a variety of roles.

Brat Pack Adjacent films I really like:
Sixteen Candles
Weird Science
No Small Affair
does Tuff Turf and The Outsiders count?

While no Brat Packers were in these films they are definitely part of the genre:

Can't Buy Me Love

Brats was interesting but in my opinion was not a well executed doc. Still, I enjoyed watching it. Ally Sheedy comes off the best in the film. It seems she's really happy about her involvement as a brat packer and life.

Billy/Lowe wouldnt have been dead by the 90s.
And I even say Jules/Moore wouldnt have came out clean by the 90s either.

Way too destructive and that era of excess would have persisted.

The rest of them are just Yuppies.......probably just ends of with them dancing in the kitchen to bad 80's music ala The Big Chill.

The way the documentary ended, I wouldn’t be surprised to see a part two documentary, but I’d be all for a narrative reunion film too. Is it too late? Probably. But who cares, this cast reuniting would be pretty great.
