Thank you for this! I've got nearly every US release on BD, bar a few of the very early titles, and I am hoping those foreign releases and anything else stuck on DVD, like Borderline, finally get a proper release soon.

Regarding Machine Gun kelly, I wonder if the aspect ratio
listed on the German blu-ray is a mistake.

If the 1.37-1 is correct, I wonder if it's a TV safe-alternate,
and not a pan-scan. Some TV-safe alternates are legitimate
compositions, although secondary to the theatrical AO.

Maybe the HD masters for "Love and Bullets" and "Borderline" look so bad and that's the reason why Shout Factory don't release them.

This is likely upscaled from an SD source, but if you want to be complete there's at least these German releases of Donato and Daughter too.

He was also in a couple episodes of a The Virginian, which got released in Germany (not sure of the quality of the of releases). In seasons 4 and 6 according to imdb.

I'll be listing those under Episodic Television list & link
in a few days when I've finished collating. His TV credits
are extensive, especially in the 1950s and 1960s. Thanks.

The Shout Factory edition has a better transfer and
an abundance of supplements that blows away the
Twilight Time edition. The idea in omitting it was to
steer the buyer toward the better blu-ray. However
I put it in because you asked.

I have both discs, the Shout release is indeed better… but since this is a list of “everything released “ it would seem appropriate to list it….

Breakheart Pass and The White Buffalo also have earlier blu-ray versions with outdated scans. Kino basically used the same covers so its easy to mix those up when purchasing.

It's not upscaled it's an SD on BD release. The video is 50hz PAL too, so may be a problem on some US players and TVs.

It would be nice if Kino Lorber took an interest
in Bronson. Machine Gun Kelly, X-15, You Can't
Win 'Em All, Love and Bullets, and Borderline
would certainly sell blu-rays.

Shouts has the rights to release "Borderline" and "Love and Bullets".
If "The Evil that Men Do", "Telefon" and "St.Ives" sell well, then they'll release them but the question is: Are their good HD masters of both films available?

hard to say but I don't have a great feeling about it--

TELEFON looked mediocre on the Shout release... I've read that THE EVIL THAT MEN DO is no great shakes either. ST IVES was fine....

LOVE AND BULLETS and BORDERLINE are 2 Bronson flicks I've never been able to see so they obviously top my list of wanted titles. Hoping that someday they get a release (and yes, I'd buy them even if they looked like TELEFON)

Thanks for doing this, Richard!

Importing this slice of info from the "Telefon" thread...

2) "Mr Majestyk" looks now better with Kino Lorber's new 2k master

3) Chato's Land" the same as "Mr Majestyk".

4) "Ten to Midnight" looks very good.

5) The White Buffalo"- I only have Kino Lorber's first disc but their new disc should also look a little bit better.

6) The Mechanic" looks quite good, though there's some room for improvements

7) "From Noon Till Three" also looks quite good

8) "Breakout" looks also quite good

9) Assassination" and CaboBlanco" may have the worst transfers" of all mentioned films. Assassination" looks better in HD than "Cabo Blanco"

10) The French blu-ray of "You can't win'em all" looks quite good

11) Death Hunt" looks oh, though there´s room for some improvements.

12) "Murphy's Law" looks ok.

13) "Death Wish 1+2" are even out on ultra HD, Death Wish 3 got a new master and looks fine, Death Wish 4+5 look ok.

14) The French films all look ok (Cold Sweat, Rider on the Rain(even out in 4k in Germany), Farewell Friend, Someone behind the Door

15) "Violent City" looks quite good. Also out in 4k, though some people doesn't like it because of an unrealistic color scheme but I like it immensely.

16) "The Stone Killer" looks quite good.

17) "Breakheart Pass" got a new 2k master by Kino Lorber and looks quite good.

18)"Wild Horses"(Chino) looks ok but I didn't like the film, only the title music.

19) The Valachi Papers" looks very good but as a German, I'm speaking about the German blu-ray that looks much better than the US-blu-ray.

20) "Red Sun" (European blu-ray) looks ok but not good. There's room for some improvements.

21) "Messenger of Death" looks good

22) "Kinjite-Forbidden Subjects" looks ok.

23) "The Evil that Men Do" looks ok, but the last 30 minutes looks excellent.

I keep waiting on Shout Factory to do a 4kUHD release of "10 To Midnight". To me, that seems like one of the Bronson movies that would be a no-brainer for a 4kUHD release. Even if Shout Factory doesn't do it, I think someone else might (possibly Vinegar Syndrome if SF doesn't).

The recent Kino Lorber livestream with Frank Tarzi had a Bronson question covered in it and Tarzi mentioned that they planned to release some more Bronson on Blu-ray and 4kUHD.

His comments were: "I'm planning to put a couple of Bronson titles out on 4k and also do new restorations of some others." He also mentioned one specific title: "Rider on the Rain" - "We are probably going to do a 4k release of 'Rider on the Rain'."

His Bronson comments are at 22:04:
