Imaginary 4K UHD (2024)

It looks like Lionsgate will be releasing Imaginary on 4K UHD via an Amazon Exclusive Steelbook. No artwork yet, or indication of a standard edition as well. This isn't the first time Lionsgate has locked 4K to an exclusive Steelbook. They did the same with the WM exclusive release of Silent Night earlier this year.

When Jessica moves back into her childhood home with her family, her youngest stepdaughter, Alice, finds a stuffed bear named Chauncey. I gotta stop buying blurays early on. Every time I do, 4k comes out later down the road. Steel does look pretty sweet though

I liked the movie well enough. Good actors and interesting premise. It just felt really neutered for a horror film. I was on the fence buying it upon initial release but I'm loving the 4K steelbook design so I will definitely pick it up now.

the last 2 that burned me were MALIGNANT and ME3AN..... after that I stopped buying the blus----

LAST VOYAGE OF THE DEMETER and ABIGAIL are two recent ones that I'm waiting for 4k.....

I think my biggest problem was worrying about getting slipcovers before they were gone. Now that I've started condensing my standard titles into sleeves, it doesn't bother me nearly as much. I still keep boutiques and special editions in original packaging on the shelf, but otherwise I'm freeing up space, and hopefully holding off for 4Ks going forward

I haven't bought this one yet, but I did watch it and found it fairly enjoyable. Glad it's getting a 4K release!
