I’m sure it’s worth the wait anyways.

According to the Warner Classics page, the Top Cat release date has been changed to September 17th.

They should probably consider just skipping a month. That would make more sense than constantly having to push dates back.

It would but then people would start complaining there aren’t any announcements.

I don't think its a replication issue but probably last minute fine tuning ala those bumpers for the one TV show that got delayed this year. If it was a replication issue, I would think Top Cat would've been given priority, considering the animated sets are selling better than ever

New interview with Neal Sabin.

https://open.spotify.com/episode/7IGNn03tPpcRasoRGkq8xy

He says that Weigel is still waiting for the restorations of Huckleberry Hound, Yogi Bear and others, but they might be coming at the end of the year (in time for a new MeTV Toons H-B block).

If they are ready by year's end, WAC might put out at least one of them in time for the holidays.

As the oldest HB series likely to be released (I don't think The Ruff and Reddy show has much of a chance unfortunately), The Huckleberry Hound Show is probably among my most wanted anything on Blu-ray. Day one buy when it happens.

Top Cat is now available to order at MovieZyng. Just $34.99 too, which is a great value.

i would TOTALLY buy that, if it's the full shows with restored intro and end credits intact, and possibly some bonus content added like Kellog's sponsor ads.

perhaps even have some episodes on the set with that stuff still intact,
like i think they did with The Jetsons set as well.

if it's just the loose cartoons, they aren't getting my money.

same goes for a future Quick Draw set.

You'll be happy to know both Huck and Yogi are being done currently for MeTV Toons in HD, and Neil Sabin (who runs the channel) has said the studio is being thorough in getting the bridges/bumpers they can. Both should be on the network by the end of the year, and probably to disc not long after. Seems the music rights are FINALLY cleared up!

Here are some images from Benny's Mother. The people credited in the end are identical to the DVD, but this may of been the episode they got the credits from

Some comparisons with the old DVD.

The old DVD was definitely faded, red-tinted and cropped, but some of these colors look a little dark to me,especially Dibble's uniform. Maybe that's the difference between a heavily-compressed digital TV feed and a Blu-Ray.

I'd like to note after some digging this episode had wrong end credits. Its more than likely that the individual end credits were tossed long ago. If they did find a few, I hope they were included

EDIT: I wanna say my feed on my laptop was compressed to some degree as I was watching on both my TV and laptop. The TV looked a tad bit better. Hopefully the BD has a bit nicer CC
