And Rear Window while we're at it, too!

Jaws is the only movie in that list I care to watch more than once.

Citizen Kane, but I wouldn't mind getting Apocalypse Now or Lawrence of Arabia either!

Tough choice. Out of the movies listed, I definitely want Psycho, Jaws, Double Indemnity, and Citizen Kane.

Psycho, although I think Apocalypse Now and Lawrence of Arabia would be more spectacular on Blu-ray.

I picked LoA from your list, but I would have to choose A Matter of Life and Death as my most wanted.

I'd like most of them. My personal favourite not listed would be The Big Sleep. Of those listed I think I'd like Psycho which would present a few interesting choices as the DVD issues all use the R rated print which is apparently missing some footage http://www.movie-censorship.com/report.php?ID=1921 and would leave the restorers with the dilemma Hitchcock was unsure about: the skull effect http://everything2.com/title/Psycho

From that list I'd have to say Jaws.

Damn, I have to choose just one? I guess Ben-Hur since that could look and sound the best out of all the choices. Come to think of it, wasn't that supposed to be released this year? It is the 50th anniversary.

Spartacus, Doctor Zhivago, Khartoum, Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire, Forbidden Planet, Robinson Crusoe on Mars, all Hitchcock films and any other films in the AFI top 400 nominees not released yet (and all of the ones listed above).

Not on the list that I would like to see, would be The Thin Man series, Harvey and Mr. Smith Goes to Washington.
