Why would Paramount only release 9 and 10 individually? Are the MOD discs still in print?

The previous 8 already came out. They're all listed in the post.

Are they MOD or are they released by Paramount?

I'm not sure about all, but some of them are at MovieZyng, which would imply them being MOD. I think in some (if not all) cases they were wide releases originally, but got re-released through MOD.

Based on the disc count and the lack of a closed captions logo on the Complete Series, it seems they're reusing the existing MOD discs. It's nice that they'll be pressed now (and will be much cheaper in total), and that they thought to include Wishology. But most of them are DVD-5s and so have more discs/fewer episodes per disc than is ideal, and having no captions of any kind for those seasons is a shame.

And aren't some of the 1-hour-90 minute movies split into 2-3 parts for syndication/production purposes?

I mean, the fact this has every season with replicated discs, I'll buy it in my travels, but I prefer watching what I just said in their original movie format).

And judging by the description in the listing, Wishology will be in 4:3 and not the originally produced widescreen like the DVD-R release

Very glad to see this get a release! Never thought they'd bother with a set, especially considering the remaining seasons not on disc are far from being fan favorites.

I'm somewhat surprised they don't make the effort to make new masters for the old Amazon / CreateSpace MOD seasons. I believe a lot of those were on single layer discs; if they had used dual-layers they wouldn't have needed to include so many.

Glad to see it though! Here's hoping A New Wish is next.

Season 1 was a weird one cause that was OOP for awhile until Paramount restarted (had a saved search on ebay for a bit and finally snagged a copy for almost $45 at the time). Weird thing about S1 is that it's not only region locked but still has the Adobe encore source files for the menu still on the disc. I only have up to Season 5 but 2-5 are region free. Curious to see if these will be a crap-ton of single layer discs and reusing the painfully generic Amazon menus.

Excellent, now I can finally complete the Nicktoons Unite team on my DVD shelf! Also hoping that A New Wish is next! (Along with another season pick-up for that show, but that's neither here nor there.)

Pretty cool, honestly.

Will there be an Amazon listing coming up soon?

Moviezyng listing usually goes up first, Amazon will most likely show up in a few days.

In the meantime, site listings are now up:

I liked this show as a kid (I had some episodes on VideoNOW!), but can’t see myself watching it much as an adult. I might pick it up down the line if it’s cheap enough. I really remember enjoying the Channel Chasers movie. Completely didn’t watch anything past like 2008 when they introduced Poof.

That was the artwork used for season 9 on digital.

I counted up the number of episodes and this could easily have been a 26 disc set instead of 35. That feels like a waste. Is it really cheaper for them to manufacture that many extra discs than to make new masters for at least the first five seasons?

Both are based on the artwork they used for the digital release of that season.
