There is also an Xbox Wire write up by Anni Valkama (Brand Manager, Playtonic) with some info about the remake, along with announcing a discount for owners of Yooka-Laylee on Xbox (which is nice).

I am also delighted to announce that owners of the original Yooka-Laylee on Xbox will be entitled to an owner’s discount at launch!

No information regarding owners on other relevant platforms, but I wouldn't be surprised if the discount applies to owners on Switch, PS4, and Steam as well. Was Switch the only physical copy? I wonder how they will manage discounts for owners of the physical...

I'm looking forward to giving this a replay. I actually enjoyed the original, so if they improve on some of it's flaws it should be a sold 3D Collect-a-thon game.
