Ok lets get back into another great accomplished actor category! What is Eddie Murphy's best movie? Same rules as usual. Vote for his best movie, but also reply and list your fav if different and also least/worst movie by him! I didnt list any standups or voice over movies. I want to focus on actual movies only. I would say this is a tough one, but my list would go:

Best: Tie - "Coming To America" & "Trading Places" (Voted "CTA")

Favorite: "Coming To America"

Least: "Nutty Professor II: The Klumps"

Trading Places - Best (Only because "Delerious" and "Raw" Aren't techincally movies.) Closely seconded by "Harlem Nights"

The worst I saw was "The Golden Child" but I haven't seen anything of his in over 10 years because so much of it has looked crappy in the trailers.

All his earlier films(Trading Places,Coming To America,48 Hrs. films,Beverly Hills Cop films,etc.) Some of his later stuff as well, (Dreamgirls,The Shrek films)

I went with Beverly Hills Cop. But my second is close, The Golden Child. Simply because I love the scene in the temple where he says something like, "Give me the knife... now." You know what I mean, hysterical. While he has to spin that thing.

48hrs and Beverly Hills Cop hands down! This is not even a contest.
I can see why people would pick Hills since it was his most famous. I personally think it was 48 hrs if nothing else for the bar scene alone.

I love Eddie Murphy, but anything that he has done in the past 10 years just absolutely sucks. With that said, hands down Beverly Hills Cop is the best movie he ever made. Its a classic flick from the '80s. It has a good blend of comedy, action and suspense. This is Eddie Murphy at his best.
