Sony Pictures Home Entertainment will bring to Blu-ray Seinfeld: The Complete Series. The upcoming box set is scheduled to arrive on the market on December 17.

Description: Emmy Award-winning SEINFELD is one of the most popular shows of all time. Mining his rich comedic resources, Jerry Seinfeld provides a hysterical look at life as a single adult in the '90s. Along with a refreshing cast and top-notch writing, this series quickly revealed itself to be a beloved comedic classic.

However, it is not known what aspect ratio will be utilized. (hopefully 4x3)

I still have the DVDs. The original releases in the thick boxes, not the later re-releases in standard cases. It was so exciting collecting those at the time they came out. (Even got the one gift set that came with a miniature puffy shirt!) Seinfeld is my favorite TV show of all time, so I will definitely be down for a Blu-ray if they keep the original aspect ratio. But might still keep those original DVDs, too. Been a big part of my collection for a long time now.

That's a pain. It should be 1.33 for both releases.

Does anyone own the digital HDX series from Vudu? Is the aspect ratio the original 1.33 on that collection?

Historically, Vudu has had mixed ARs for the show. Many episodes that were not in 4:3 on Google Play were in 4:3 on Vudu, while others that were 4:3 on Google Play weren't on Vudu. Whether that changes with the new complete collection isn't clear (I would think they would match the discs, i.e. HDX 16:9 4K 4:3, but that's only an assumption)
