PS3 resume playback? - Blu-ray Forum

Did the recent firmware update enable resume play? I put in Along Came Polly today then exited the movie and went to the PS3 menu. When I went back in to play the movie it started where I left off. I was under the impression that resume playback didn't exist previously. Am I wrong?

Yes, you're wrong. I can't tell you how long it has existed, but it's been there ever since I got my PS3 in July.

It works only if you don't turn the PS3 off and only on titles that don't use BD-J on their menus (i.e. Pirates)
