If Turbine releases these on 3D blu ray, I'll check them out. No interest in watching either without 3D though.

Oz the Great and Powerful is a lot of fun in 3D. How do people rate the first Wicked against that?

Wicked is in a class of its own, because it is first and foremost a Broadway musical above everything else. Oz the Great and Powerful, aside from the 3D, doesn't really have a lot of depth or staying power.

As a movie, Wicked's better, but 3D and visuals wise, Oz the Great and Powerful is so much better, it's not even funny. Raimi had FUN with the format and it shows, while the conversion for Wicked is in the serviceable territory (which is a shame since Chu had better 3D work with Step Up 3D).

I liked Oz a lot better than this.

If Tubrine gets a 3D of Wicked before this comes out I'll watch in the theater and wait for the 3D of this one, someday. Otherwise I'll get this on UHD.

People who weren’t already Wicked fans before they made the movies are likely never going to enjoy it as much as those of us who were.

I was hoping we would be seeing more Oz projects coming once Wicked was a hit but so far nothing.

Well, officially, two. But there are persistent rumours they might make a third.
