12ft HDMI Cable - $10 at Walmart - Blu-ray Forum

The other day I went to Walmart in Welland, they had tons of HDMI cables at 12ft being sold for $10 each. I couldn't see what version it was. It didn't say anything on the label, but it seems to be HDMI-certified due to the HDMI logo on the cable and on the packaging. It's obviously under the Walmart brand as it says "Imported by Walmart" on the back.

Still, it's $10!

You can stiil get a good quality HDMI cable from Monoprice for cheaper than that.

it's a pretty good price if it's 1.3a or higher for the cable

Even monoprice are selling 24 AWG 12ft ones for 12bucks, plus tax and shipping

12ft HDMI cable plus shipping to Canada would come to a total of $11.13 USD, when converted to CAD, it would come to $12.30. If you bought the one at Walmart for $10, it would come to $11.30 after taxes in Ontario and you don't have to wait a few days to a couple weeks to get it.

A couple weeks? From Monoprice? I have never waited that long.

But regardless its a poor comparison to have until someone can confirm what the AWG of the HDMI cord from Wal-Mart is. If it is the same then great good deal.
