Default Sony BDP-BX57 displays purple images

I bought a Sony BDP-BX57 3D Blu-Ray player at a thrift store. Didn't come with a remote. When I hooked it up to my non-3D TV, it shows purple images. Is this something that can be changed in the settings? I ordered a remote from eBay, so hopefully I'll get it soon. I mostly bought this play for the SACD playback, but I wanted to replace my old Panasonic Blu-Ray player in my room because it's pretty basic. Thanks.

It can be the main board in its last days or it can be deep color enabled that the TV doesn't support.

Thanks. I got a remote from eBay. I turned off the 3D playback and deep color. Everything looks good now. No thanks to all those that didn't reply.
