I received a Blu from Netflix (New In Town) and was surprised to see at the start of the Blu up popped an ad for Overstock.com.
I have never seen an ad on a Blu or a DVD. Is this something new or have I been blind? If it is new, maybe they can now start dropping prices????? |

That is what I was thinking. OR is it Neflix or the maker of the Blu? Is it on Blu's only or on DVD's also?

the more I think about it the more I think that it could be possibly be just the rental blu-rays in general. Maybe this is something new they are going to start doing so they studios can make more money off of rentals since obviously they make a smaller %age of profit when giving rights to a rental vs the amount of profit they make off of selling a blu-ray to a customer.
then again when I was with Netflix I remember each envelope had a ad of some sort inside of it and I think overstock was one of them so it could just be a new Netflix trick to gain a larger profit margin. |
