An hour or two after I ordered, that one was listed as "Locating stock" or something like that while the other two said "awaiting shipment." I bet it was just already sold out. And long before I got the cancellation notification, my Paypal receipt had cut like $18 off my order.

I'm sure many other people bought it for that exact purpose, so the after market won't exactly be thirsty for these anytime soon, I'm betting.

It's still a good/great deal- but it's not anything I really needed (or wanted right now) so it's money that's not available for other things I'd rather have.

Wondering how long these will take to arrive (the ones that actually do ship out)?

It wasn't exactly a massively advertised sale - there will be lots of people that weren't able to take advantage of it. Heck, I'm sure a few people that did order it will probably get their orders cancelled. I'm sure you'll be able to sell it fine.

Since Arrow US sells only its US releases they should ship from here, though I don't know exactly where. I know some people here would complain if they got copies with BBFC & possibly IFCO ratings labels.

As soon 2 preorders were canceled from an order, I tried to cancel the “in stock” item (Shaw Vol 3). I didn’t want to be charged $80 for just that.

Arrow just emailed and said they couldn’t cancel the order though as it’s already in the dispatch process.

Wonder how we can find out how much I’ll be charged for the whole order.

Edit: looks like I was charged $53 and change for the Shaw Vol 3 set. Not bad I guess. It’s a blind buy.

"Delivery Method: International Standard Delivery". Kinda weird that a US site would ship it internationally to a US address.

Does seem weird, but then a lot of times Arrow releases the same movie in both U.S. & UK, with the same discs but different ratings & other logos. (At least Arrow UK often puts its BBFC & IFCO logos on removable J-cards.) It's also under common ownership with Zavvi, whose "US" site ships UK product all the time. Guess you're gonna find out...

My order with 3, both Shaw sets and Deep Blue Sea went through. Only the Sea pre-order got cancelled. The 2 Shaw sets are awaiting shipment and cost me less than $30 each!!

The order I put in yesterday under the 3 for $70 (before the correction) just shipped w/tracking number and delivery estimate of next Monday!



I did double check PayPal to make sure no prices were adjusted and this included the 10% off coupon on top of it. Best deal I'll get all year on media for sure!

I was tipped off to the sale from this thread, so I placed an order of three 4Ks (The Addiction, Cruising, and Deep Blue Sea) to see what would happen. I got a cancelation for Cruising and Deep Blue Sea, but The Addiction shipped, which ended up being $25 with shipping. Not a bad price, but I probably would have just canceled the whole order if that one hadn't already been in the process of being shipped. It will still be a good addition to the collection though.

Click on your order on the Arrow site. It should show how much each title was charged.

I was charged $42.21 for the Shawscope V3 and $19.73 for the Lukas Moodysson set.

Those price seem to include tax, but not shipping. I'll be refunded the $14 and change for Cruising.

Congrats to the people who maxed this out with only instock items.

I got charged $34 for V3 and $32 for V2 and it looks like that is with tax. Shipping is like $5 or so I think. Funny, as I was never going to get these, as V1 is more than enough for me. But at those prices, wtf!! I'll find time to watch as many as I can over the year. They also gave me 100 points too! I don't know what those are for, but the more perks the better.

Well, I got my shipping notices for my two orders. Ordered 6 different box sets - Giallo Essentials Yellow and Black, Weird Wisconsin, Westerns 2 and 3, and Gothic Fantastico. No price adjustments, didn’t preorder, and worked out to be 25 and some change each. Shocked it didn’t get cancelled.. but not complaining at all!
