Can you provide a source? I don't see it on Amazon, yet. And is that the MSRP? Cause it'll probably be like $25 or $28 regular price.

Sweet! Should be around $25 at Amazon. This is a must have for me.

Wonder if I should list every $40 MSRP Blu ray title and exclaim that HD-DVD is cheaper... nah, that would be dumb.

He didn't say Blu-ray was cheaper, only pointed out that the idea that HD DVD is so much cheaper for the consumer is rubbish.

Actually what he did was post a new thread to show the MSRP of 1 HD-DVD title. What was the point again? I think most people realize that the prices are about equal when taken on average.

LOL...I knew some idiot would reply with a post like this. One of the key points to the HD DVD fanboys is hd dvd's are cheaper. That isn't the case with prices like this.

The point was that HD DVD is not inherently cheaper and as many threads about it should be made until people stop barking that it is.

It's the same with the "HD DVD has better picture in my opinion" posts that seem to finally have been curbed - the numbers are in and Blu-ray gets better overall reviews for picture.

You decided to dedicate an entire thread to the MSRP of 1 HD-DVD, and then tried to make some kind of point that is impossible to make with your sample of 1 - and I am the idiot?

New flash for you - many HD-DVD and Blu ray titles have an MSRP of $40. This is how is has been in the past, and will continue to be so. Do you plan on starting a new thread each time a $40 HD-DVD is released?

Yah and I am going to go through all those damn sites and put every single damn hd dvd movies msrp price on this thread. Seems like someone has their panties in bundle over me using on movie as an example and not every single damn one.....

Can't believe someone got all ass hurt over me using one movie as an example

Perhaps I am not as informed as others here, but who are all these people that are claiming HD-DVD movies are cheaper to buy? Any links to provide?

Again, I just don't see the point of creating a new thread about 1 HD-DVD release.

Paramount always made their discs the same price for both formats and never used Combos.

I think that the Star Trek discs will be the first Combo from Paramount.

Given the problem rate with each Combo disc, I wonder what the probability is that you get a Star Trek box with no faulty discs?

Hey bro do us a favor and stop posting ignorant replys. We here are all blu ray fanatics (some even have blu blood) and some are neutral. just because you are an HD DVD fanboy doesnt give you the right to bash other members on what they feel is a legit posting. Just because you feel this thread is unecessary doesnt mean everyone here does. If you disagree with the posting, a simple "It will probably be cheaper on amazon.com and I think Ill preorder it when available" would have been sufficient.

It would be rad if you didnt bash other people's posts. Thanks!

anyway back to topic... That does seem over priced! havent they learned their lesson on combo discs yet?!?!

Wow - go back to elementary school? That is what you come up with?

Nevermind then - continue opening new threads for each HD-DVD release and reporting the MSRP. I am sure everyone here will learn a lot from you.
