Default It has to stop!

There's a thread on eProductWars about the Blu-Bloods. Guys, I'm not trying to sound like an ass. But please put a stop to the BB's. It makes the whole site look bad. Do you all not know how many people look at this site and see these things?

The thread is kinda hard to find, but it's there.

Link: http://www.eproductwars.com/dvd/viewComments.cfm?db=dvd

Blu-ray forms a gang!

- Ok , I can't turn away from bluray.com It is just too funny Seems as though blu-ray will win this by forming a gang called the blu-bloods!! No wait, it gets better -theyre making T-shirts: https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread.php?t=16731 check it out before the link get erased bluray.com style are there any bluray fans out there older than 14?!??! bluwars.com responds on 2007-09-15 12:01:02.0: BluWars Forums That is getting sad and desperate this pales in comparison with some of the things that HD DVD boys have done
I recieved a few comments last post about the name by using bluwars instead of bluewars the reason bluwars.com was taken
Also one member commented that the site was to collect emails for spam again this is not true email verifcation is disabled so feel free to use a false/fake email Report inappropriate content

Jahcure responds on 2007-09-15 12:33:36.0: Ok this is strange. LOL. I am guessing these guys are teens, so we can't really blame them. Actually it's pretty cool they are entertaining themselves. Lets hope they keep it clean and respectful. Report inappropriate content

Sam BD Ninja of the HD Wars responds on 2007-09-17 03:49:44.0: Could they maybe do Blu-Crips...its really more appropriate given Blu-Ray is usually given the color blue. Report inappropriate content

JOSH IF UR READING THIS, DELETE ANY MEMBER USING THE BLU-BLOOD CRAP, they are ruining this site.

Your "getting laid" remark makes the site look bad as well...

I think thats much better than the Blu-Bloods Crap. Its the 21st Century, the getting laid thing is passable.

Regardless of the blu-bloods, blu-ray.com is a great website and we all know it. People understand that the views of the individual denizens don't reflect the policies and views of the administrators. The moderators can't be everywhere and shouldn't stifle the freedom of blu-ray fans to post what they want, as long as it falls within the rules.

Beyond that, who cares what people on AVS or wherever are posting about the website. If you like blu-ray.com, that's all that matters.

Amen, I mean the BLuBlood Thing is corny but we are here to have fun and get more knowledge and give updates, talk about whats going on with the format. I give a Fu#% what some HDDUD fanboy who probably still lives at home with his parents and bought his Toshiba player from mowing the neighbors yard has to say. Who cares? I don't know how most of the Hddvd fanboys our goin to exist with having to watch Pirates, Spiderman, Fantastic Four, Die Hard in Standard dvd upconverted.

Even though I support blu-ray 100% unfortunately I have to agree with you. It seems like 80-90% of the users in here are kids or teens (at least thats what it seems when you look at the posts in here)
It would be nice if there would be way more posts about real blu-ray issues and topics etc. and not those childish 'blu'blood gangs' or 'lets buy movies today to show the HD-DVD guys' posts and all that BS.

The only two people, to my knowledge, that are in their teens are Jorg and I.

Yes, it's dripping with irony . . . but his point is still valid. But the absurdity of what he speaks rings true.

You don't register at that forum, you just make up a username and post. (Like a blog comment). He saw the Bloods here and made a name like that to sarcastically mimic it.

I don't get.

The Bloods wore red, the Crips wore blue.

Shouldn't the gang here be called the Blu-Crips?

Oh and when you see a fellow gangster in the aisles of your local Best Buy or Circuit City, make sure you throw him the sign to show you're "down".

Why does anyone care what the redants say ? If a bunch of members want to have fun with a name, so be it. Who are they hurting ? If it is upsetting the redant's so much, more power to us !
I too thought it was weird when I first saw the BB sig, but it didn't bother me as long as the post's remained professional !

Actually, I'm pretty sure I heard about them forming the HD-DVD Crips over on AVM$. In any case, while I do agree that t-shirts may be taking it a bit too far I don't see what's wrong with it.

Yeah really, It sure got them talking about us. Let them talk about us. The more they spend looking at our site and blogging the less they are out spending money on the dead format they own.

LMAO, I'm pretty sure the name had nothing to do with The Bloods. I don't think I can even get my fingers to bend like that.
