I did pass on 2009 because the Blu I have is perfectly fine and I'm not too fussed about the extras, but man... this might be the straw that breaks the camel's back. I currently have the Warner Blu of the theatrical cut and an open matte, 4:3 DVD of the unrated/bloodier version. I would like that second version of the movie in HD! Plus I imagine the extras could be fascinating for this weird and wonderful movie.

this release actually would be significant considering prior, Jason Goes to Hell was only available on BD through different sets like the initial complete collection set or the Shout set, there was never an official single release

Enjoyed this one as a kid. I remember trying to see it in the theater opening night on a Friday the 13th and it was sold out. It's interesting how theater audiences can be that way. For example, as a kid I remember seeing Mallrats opening weekend and there were only like 2-4 others and a movie like The Beverly Hillbillies sold out several nights in a row and I'm glad because I recently watched it again and thought it was hilarious.

Back in the 1990's and early 2000's I loved going to matinee showings during the week and having the theater to myself. Helped with my hatetred of humanity.
