Default Best Buy story from today

So I was going to buy 2 Best Buy movies today until I saw a wife and husband right next to me that were picking out 5 HD-DVD movie's for their sons' 18 Birthday. I countered their purchase by buying 7 BD's today.

I am now poor. lol

It would be messed up if the kid laughs at his parents for not knowing him better. (cause when they give him his 5 Hd-DUDS hes gonna be like yeah. . . . um thanks but I have a Blu ray player!) And they'll have to drive all the way back and return those DUDS!

Remember to do the same on October 16th.

THIS IS THE DATE when it will really count to support your format.

reward zone card will just get you into trouble, its only really good to use if you're buying a tv or the higher dollar purchases.

I went into a local Best Buy and bought a couple of Blus. After seeing that they didn't have Troy or Smallville, yet they had signs and HD DVD got their copies , I noticed that on an endcap the hometheater department had a 52" XBR4...with an HD A20 onit!!! I am friends with the home theater supervisor there and I told him that I refused to leave until he changed it. And let me say this...the A20 looked like crap on that TV. I am starting to seriously doubt the "same picture quality" jargon I hear from the HD DVD camp.

They had the A20 on the XBR4 because the A20 was returned earlier in the day and they needed somewhere to put it HAHAHAHA.
