Default How to tell If My Breakfast at Tiffany's is a fake?

I bought a used copy of the 50th Anniversary Blu ray. Yhe packaging seems legit, but how about the actual disc itself ?
Is there anyway to tell If its the real thing ?

Last time I checked which was a few years ago is that there really weren't many fake BD's that would say BD-ROM on your machine. Look at the back of the disc. If it black or some color other than BD's it's fake. If your machine says it's a BD-R, well it's probably fake unless they actually made the film in a BD-R at some point, and I don't think they did.

I guess what I'm really asking is could someone have slipped in a regular Blu ray disc instead of the 50th anniversary one.

Now, I'm slightly confused. Wasn't that the very first release of the film on BD? All other editions will include that same disc. I thought you were asking if it was a bootleg.

I just thought the 50th was a better version, maybe not. Then again Audrey Hepburn was always pretty special anyways.

All the U.S. releases are the same, they simply re-issue the 50th anniversary disc every few years as they re-press it to meet continued sales demands. There are no "other" legit versions released here.

First Paramount put it out, then Warner handled a re-issue for them, then Paramount re-issued it themselves again. They're all the same.

As long as your disc is pressed and not a burned BD-R, it's fine.
