I've only heard of the $399 PS3 bombshell (also that it will be bundled with Spidey 3) possibly being announced. Anyone else have anything?

6:58 p.m. -- Afrika looked awesome! It wasn't gameplay perspective footage, but it was definitely in-engine. Still don't know what it's about though.Now Hirai is moving on to other stuff. How sony will improve PS3 software: 1. Further building relationships with licenses. Gives example of Crisis Core PSP package -- tie up in marketing. 2. Improvement in software development libraries.

6:59 p.m. -- PlayStation Edge program -- sharing of SCE WWS assets and know how. Also, Sony has periodical meetings of advisory board and they are implementing plans to improve development efficiencies. A few years ago, we acquired SN Systems tool chain. We will soon be able to show results of that development to our developers.

7:00 p.m. -- 2. Strengthening of 1st party title development. Accellerate development of sofwtare that take advantage of PS3. WWS shares assets and knowhow throughout world. Also try to manage budget allocation. And try to gather talents from outside SCE. WE have alos purchased some studios in North America and Europe. 9/18, announced acquisition of Evolution and Big Big Studios. Motorstorm has sold over a million copies for the PS3. Says they have good technology grasp which can be put to use for PSP and PS3 title. Example of titles form these studios now. Trailer footage.

7:01 p.m. -- First, recapping WRC series. Now, Motorstorm for PS3. BigBig -- Pursuit Force. All old footage of old games!!!

3. Further cost reduction. This will be done by shrink of semi conducter and cost of components.Important that we bring down the cost of hardware. We will be doig this for the PS3 system as well.

4. VOC. Listen to voices and requests of users to make sure we can utilize their opninons in the development of products.
