Default Live-action films ideas?!

What are some of your ideas?

This just came to my mind
It would be damn straight awesome if they were to do a live-action of Heavy Metal - Taarna
I kid you not.

Screw that... but along a similar vein: Freakazoid! Then again, the folks behind Madman might actually sue if WB tried to produce a Freakazoid! movie, especially since they're trying to put together a Madman film.

I'd also personally like to see Dragon Ball done right. It's not the casting or anything that bugs me (who are you say that Saiyans would look like an Asian?) it's the shoddy production and terrible story.

ps shadblz: any idea you may have about adapting an art form into a live action feature film is already owned by someone else.

I don't think Dragonball Evolution is the crime against humanity everyone says. It could be done infinitely better but it's not bad for what it is if you realize it's not the show.

Well I suppose if you compare it to the original live action movie that was made like what 15-20 years ago called The Magic Begins or something like that now that's horrible, actually beyond horrible. Dragon Ball: Evolution is only like maybe a good popcorn flick but if you watch the Dragon Ball series then yeah it sucks since they tried to make Evolution into 1 movie instead of 2 so it takes away a lot of important things that happened in Dragon Ball and yet added some new things that never happened in the series. Besides, how could they skip the Red Ribbon Army saga? That's basically what led to the Androids saga in DBZ with Dr. Gero.

Was one on my favorite cartoons as a kid, right up there with Ghostbusters and Transformers.

I remember someone on IMDB saying Red Ribbon Army was for the sequel. But it seems they're not going to be making one.

I thought the main focus for the sequel was basically like the Saiyans Saga with Raditz, Nappa, and Vegeta. But even if the next one is going to be the Red Ribbon Army it kind of ruins the whole point of a kid defeating an entire army aspect but then again they ruined that in the 1st movie anyways by having Goku start off as like a teenager or maybe even like a young adult and ruined the fact that Goku is supposed to be clueless except for the things Grandpa Gohan taught him.

Again I don't think it even tries to copy the show.

My friend hated it but he said if they make more he'd like to see the ginyu force lol. They would be funny to see in a live-action movie.

How about take some movie that was made in the 60's or 70's, before I was born, and do it again.... but this time use young hot-stuff actors, who despite the distinction are really incapable of actually acting..... And to spice up this flick, we'd add some explosions, and an awkward love triangle between an awkward guy, hot female who's eyes just don't seem quite right, and an older man whom the audience will spend the first 30 minutes wondering why this young-sexy-female is interested in him. Oh... throw a dog in there.... they're man's best friends, and people relate well.... Perhaps even try to work in a piece of the original movie's memorabilia too.... the audience will love that.....

Now All that is left to do, is find a fun, campy 60's/70's movie, and start placing calls to Michael Bay, Will Smith, and that Shia fella..... I think Shia could play any part that Orson Welles played.

Brilliant;

I think a Gundam movie would be awesome. G-Saviour doesn't count. :\

There's a Korean Manhwa called Shaman Warrior. I think it would make a great movie or a TV Series. It's an amazingly well drawn comic with a good story to boot. I hope it happens one day.

Don't put weird images in my head. They look bad enough in the series but live-action? And then there is the whole Namek saga with basically having like 100 Piccolos on the screen (but good Piccolos not evil ones).
