Default Army of Darkness out early?

I went to my best buy and was looking around and noticed they had Army of Darkness and Van Helsing out on the self. Wasnt it suppose to come out 9/15 or was best buy doing the same thing they did with Shawn of the dead and Hot Fuzz. Sorry if this has already been talked about.

It's just that your store basically doesn't care about the street dates. They don't have an early premium on the title like they did with Hot Fuzz/SotD.

I always seem to find older catalog titles out early. Stock clerks probably just open the cartons, price them and stick on the shelves without even knowing. I guess if something like Army of Darkness that has been released so many times and on so many formats it gets confusing.

They don't even have to price them, the studio does that. And if they're not shipped with a label stating the release date, they are fair game to pit out.
