stoked for this.

hope they put out a strategy guide. it was helpful in spots for mario odyssey. didnt need it really for wonder. but when games are so in depth now… why not? you know some game reporting website will just make that isnt as good.

Yeah I’m not a fan of strategy guides, I like discovering the secrets for myself. Can’t wait for this and MP4.

i like to have it in case i get stuck. but also, if you remember how huge donkey kong 64 was… you really would have needed a guide. there were some areas you couldnt access immediately.

Really looking forward to this. It looks like a blast. Nice to see DK getting some love again too!

I hope Diddy and Dixie Kong are in this game. It would be great if Tiny Kong is also in it but I’m not holding my breath.

I do hope this game has a lot of levels and gameplay depth to it. The only slight concern I have so far is the gameplay footage thus far seems heavily about destroying stuff. Hope there are plenty of fun 3D levels with traditional enemies. Weird, but some of my concern is the lower price tag of $70, when it seems all other remotely new first party titles are $80. Hope that doesn’t mean it's a smaller game in scope.

I did notice that the game is only 10GB, while Mario Kart World is like 23GB.

DKC Returns HD for Switch is 8 GB, not much less. And that's an 2D port of a Wii game. Would think 3D games in general would use a lot more space. But then again, Mario Odyssey was only like 6 GB and it was a huge open world game, so who knows.

Already got this pre-ordered so I'll be avoiding the Direct but I'm hoping they release some other Switch 2 tidbits. If nothing else, I'd like to know when we might get a few more Gamecube NSO titles.

They didn’t announce anything like that during the Mario Kart World Direct, so I wouldn’t expect much more than a possible announcement of another Direct.

My biggest concern about this game is that it will lack depth, focusing too much on simply destroying stuff, rather than engaging levels.

I'm kind of hyped for this game though if I'm being honest it just looks like Mario Odyssey 2 featuring Donkey Kong which isn't necessarily a bad thing.

I wasn’t sold on this from the original footage but this Direct made it look much more appealing to me. I’m in.

I might have to get my first Amiibo (never got any for the first Switch). This definitely looks good graphically and in terms of gameplay. Love how much music we’re getting with Mario Kart World and now DK Bananza too.

Since I'm elbow deep in Echoes of Wisdom I can't look at the sidekick without thinking of monster stones.

I think this will be the game that pushes me to buy a Switch 2. It looks absolutely massive with a ton to do. Glad they're showing this much love to DK after he and the gang got next to nothing in Mario Kart World.
