Default Mila Kunis as Catwoman?

I watched the movie Extract a couple of weeks ago (great movie by the way) and I could not help but think that Mila Kunis would be a perfect Catwoman. Her eyes would look perfect in the mask (kind of almond shaped) and she has a great personality (attitude) to fit the role. Plus her overall look with her beautiful hair and fit body would make a great villain/love interest for Bale's Batman. I cannot think of a better actress to fill the role if Christopher Nolan decides to use the Catwoman character.

Who would make a better Catwoman?

Someone who's a better actress. She's hot, and a good comedic actress, but I'm not sure what makes you think she has the acting chops to full off a Nolan movie successfully. Kate Beckinsale would be a better choice right off the top of my head.

Compared to Christian Bale, Mila Kunis is tiny...literally pocket sized. She's 5' 3" against his 6' of Bat brooding body.

Looking at Batman Returns: Michael Keaton is 5' 9" while Michelle Pfeiffer, who played Catwoman in Batman Returns, is 5' 7 1/2" tall.

In the comic books, the height difference was only about two to three inches. If they used Kunis, they would have to put tie apple boxes to her feet for the entire shoot to mask the height difference.

She wouldn't be my first choice by far. She is rather petite, for one thing. Also, while she is extremely pretty, she also has a tom-boyish charm, which I don't necessarily think works for a Catwoman-type character.

I would give Amanda Righetti an audition, for sure. While I still kinda think she would be perfect for the Lara Croft job, she could probably pull off a Catwoman gig with a hair color adjustment. And she is an as-yet household name as an actor, and I think it's always cool to cast competent unknowns where applicable.

Remember, this is the same Mila Kunis who starred in American Psycho 2; a "Christian Bale-less" sequel with some horrid actor dressed up like him wearing that ice mask he wears.

No. No to Kunis and no to Catwoman. I think Nolan can do better in terms of villains than that.

I think Mila Kunis would be a terrible Catwoman. Way too young.

I like Mila Kunis but I have yet to see her in something where her acting really impresses me whereas all the other leads of Nolan's Batman have (besides Heath Ledger(that is, prior to TDK)). Also, as others have said, she just doesn't quite fit into the cast IMO.

I hate to go with the obvious choice but Kate Beckinsale would be my number 1 choice. Plus it fits with Nolan casting non-Americans for American roles.

Not impressed by his work in Brokeback Mountain? I felt it was better than his work in TDK.

Mila Kunis is too young to play a believable love interest (or whatever Catwoman is) for Bale's Batman. It's not her size (I think it's a kind of cool idea to have a petite Catwoman honestly), it's her age.

Someone like that would be best. I know others have suggested Rachel Weisz. She'd be great as well. She just needs to be someone a little older, beautiful and can act. Mila Kunis doesn't meet all three of those criteria well enough or at all.

I have faith that Mila Kunis could pull it off. However, it would be her first real opportunity at pulling off a serious and complex role. Honestly, she could very well surprise people as much as Ledger did with his Joker.

Now that I have that out of the way, I must voice my concerns over using Catwoman as a character in the next Batman film... not a good idea in my opinion (and in many others).

So, although I believe Mila Kunis could prove herself with the role, I think that the character itself is a bad idea.

I didn't see Brokeback Mountain. I'll be honest, the story didn't look interesting to me at all.

Agree completely about the criteria, especially the acting bit. I also like the idea of a petite Catwoman but not for this series, maybe when they reboot down the line.

For Cat Woman, I would want a relative unknown for the role, one who can act. I say Sophia Bush, she would nail the role 100%.

So long as she growls like Bale did in TDK, she'll be fine.

Considering the criteria (has to be somewhat old) Sophia is an excellent choice.

After some consideration (finding out who she is from IMDB) I would be happy with her playing Catwoman. The only thing I've seen her in is The Hitcher; she was very good in that. I'd prefer Beckinsale still but Sophia Bush would work very well.

I'd like to see Mila as Catwoman...not necessarily in a movie, just...in general

Anyway, I don't know why a lot of people don't like the character, I think she can be great if utilized well. I don't think she should be a main villain though, I don't think they should try to play her that black and white. As for the age of the actress who would play her in Nolan's Batman, it's hard to say, I mean Bale is in his mid-30's played Bruce/Batman in his 20's. Beckinsale is a little older than Bale, I guess it would work, but I think they should go a little younger.

But really, as long as it's not Halle Berry, I'm sure it'd be fine

Hard to say no to Kate... but she's already had some good roles. Sophia deserves a chance.

Mila Kunis as Catwoman would be an epic fail! I'd love Kate Beckinsdale or Carrie Anne Moss to play the role.
