I don’t understand why Jim doesn’t put his foot down and make his son work at the tire shop. If had a son who’s 23 and still living at home he will have some kind of job. And I don’t like how when Mandy’s mom said she hated Georgie for ruining Mandy’s life. It takes 2 people to get pregnant the only thing Georgie did was lie about his age. Mandy was a willing participate.

Jim is a bit of a wimp and a doormat when it comes to his family. Mom doesn’t blame Mandy because she kind of treats Mandy like a child. Plus she hasn’t gotten over Georgie lying to Mandy about his real age.

The kid works his ass off around the house and at the shop and does everything he can to make Mandys life better and the MIL does nothing but cause issues. Mandy is the one with no job always holding out to be back on TV.

I know her mother acts like Georgie ruined her life. She was already living at home without a job when they got together and she still doesn’t have a full time job.

Mandy is currently doing a waitressing job when she isn't at a news station. According to the commercial for this Thursday's finale, she is getting more work at the news stations.

I understand she was a waitress I think she lost the job after she got in that fight idk I cant remember. My entire point and I believe Batman's is Georgie can do no right in the MIL eyes. Georgie was fixing the roof, Georgie brought in more income with the tow truck, Georgie brought in more income with the free tires. Mandy has really done nothing but get roped into Connie schemes.

Yeah and Mandy told Georgie that he should support her with her getting involved in Memaw’s gambling business cause she supported him when he was involved in the gambling room. She should realize Georgie got lucky he didn’t get busted with his grandma and got away free. She shouldn’t be getting involved with Memaw cause she has a history with the police and she’s still breaking the law.

Tonight's one hour season finale was awesome. I love how it all went. I get why Mandy's boss hasn't said anything to his finance. For him, there isn't anything to really share in the first place. Yeah, he and Mandy were an item at one point, but he dumped her and from what I could tell, it didn't look like his feelings have changed any. Mandy is only an employee to him now. To me, if Georgie needs any advice that can't come from Mandy's dad, he can always get it from Dale. I am sure that he knows all about competition.

Happy Mandys mom finally showed another side of herself in that season finale, it was very nice as well to see how Georgie got his start

Forgive me if this is a dumb question, but how was able Georgie able to buy any business when he still doesn't have a high school diploma yet? A lot of places won't even hire a person until they have graduated high school.

You don’t need a diploma to buy or run a business. My brothers drop out of high school and are millionaires.
