I've only seen one or two of his films, but he's definitely (in my eyes) a, shall we say, problematic director. I'm genuinely surprised we haven't seen any sort of 4K box set of his films like we saw in the UK with the Arrow Academy sets.

I'd like to see some of his earlier, highly-praised films like Annie Hall, Hannah and her Sisters and Manhattan, but they're not even on streaming services either, as far as I can see.

I started to revisit his work as actor/director some time ago but then I had to stop. As far as I remember, I enjoyed 'Take the Money and Run', the funny short film 'Men of Crisis. The Harvey Wallinger Story', 'Sleeper', 'Radio Days', 'Don't Drink the Water'. I love 'Play It Again, Sam', 'The Purple Rose of Cairo' but I should rewatch these and all the others which I don't remember so much.

For the curious youngsters Woody's best films by far were the early ones staring with What's New Pussycat.

He's not a problematic director. Imo, he's the target of a witch-hunt that's been going on for a very long time originally fuelled by Mia Farrow. Others feel differently (and they are entitled to their opinions as I am). But I think it's not been just.

His earlier films are the best/funniest, he had a bit of dip for several years with a few gems sprinkled in, and then a solid run up until recent times.

Those three (and many others) are on Prime Video in the UK.
