Default Vento_Dub9's simple HT setup

New to the site and figured I'd throw up a few pictures.

Westinghouse 32" LCD - looking to upgrade soon but it works well for the space.
Mirage Omni towers and center channel
Yamaha surrounds - changing these out soon
Pioneer VSX receiver
Comcast HD
No bluray yet, just an LG upconvert.
Wii
Dell PC running a Hauppauge tv tuner
No Sub yet but I have my eye on the Mirage S10.

Thanks for looking, John.

Nice set-up. Those speakers are very nice! Looks comfy too. I see space is limited, but you might want to look into some kind of stands or putting your surrounds on the wall.

Thanks, yeah once I figure out what I want for the rears I was going to look into some sort of stand or angled wall mount. The thing that sucks is I'm limited with the configuration of the room so I'm not sure if upgrading my tv is logical or if I should just wait until I move up in space from my condo.

Could u move tv/speakers to wall where one of the couches are? The placement looks like it would present a challenge. Looks good. What's the wall look like to left of tv? I'll be replacing my surrounds that would match your mirage towers if your interested

Unfortunetly thats really the only wall the tv can go on, it's just a weird layout. I think 40" - 42" is really the max on the tv size if I do decide to upgrade. The wall to the left of the tv are double windows. If I had the tv on the back wall I would only be able to fit one couch. So for now it works.. Actually I might be interested in those, I kind of kick myself for not getting them when I picked up the fronts because now Vann's no longer sells them. I'll send ya a PM.

Get some cheap/simple cable raceways from Home Depot. Run you under $5. You'll be able to clean up the wiring going up to your HDTV and they're even paintable. It'll make a big difference in the overall look.

I like your Mirage speakers!

I actually had some just ran out, you can see it in some of the pictures running from the tv stand under the front door and to the left tower. Also picking up a monoprice hdmi switch this week so I'll have less wires coming from the tv.
Thanks, I appreciate it.

Just added some new pictures to the gallery, new receiver and surrounds. Cleaned up the wiring from the tv. Trying to figure out how I'm going to fit a larger tv in there.
