Elephant Films thread

Had a look and surprised there isn't a thread for the label itself.
Over the last months I had pre-ordered many Italian cop movies from amazon France issued by Elephant Films. Those orders were all cancelled by amazon. It never happened to me before, that all of them were cancelled. Clearly someone received them because I had to settle and order from a third party on amazon, while fnac.com and cede.ch have them on sale.
Does anyone know what happened? Did Elephant reduce the run number? To note that all these movies are now in their third pressing, the most basic of all so... I'm surprised.

As you can see it was initially issued in some media-book combo, then plastic case combo, and now, the ones I ordered, just plain and simply BD's.

Many third party vendors don't ship or accept orders from outside of France. Assuming you're not in France, I would imagine it had something to do with that. The example you linked is still listed as in stock and for sale on the website for Elephant Films, so it doesn't appear to be out of print.

I'd try Fnac or just order from Elephant directly. They even have a combo pack of all of the Italian police films.

UnionJackMix, thanks for starting a general Elephant Films thread in the France sub-forum (there isn't a general one in DVD Movies but there are some separate discussion threads for some of their television on DVD titles).

Haven't purchased anything directly from the boutique label yet (the Law & Order: Seasons 1 to 5 Blu-ray boxset is a possible purchase, depending on reviews).

Seeing as none of the movies are available on amazon anymore, the link above is the only one I could post. My pre-orders (for shipping to Switzerland) were all made when the items were sold directly from amazon France as pre-orders, so it would not have anything to do with country restrictions.
In the end I purchased them from that marketplace I linked, because they were still a bit cheaper than fnac.
Have not bought from Elephant directly and I think it's a bit more expensive. I'll check out these movies before deciding if it's worth spending more on them.

Guys, EF are releasing the rest of Fantasy Island on DVD. Seasons 4-7 which completes the show. It's quite steep! Seasons 1-3 are 110 EUR and I think I have those from the US but now they are releasing the rest, for 150 EUR. I mean, it's old time prices and I don't know if it means there will be other studios finishing the series in the US?
