I stopped by two Wal-Mart stores last night. The first didn't have either FvJ or TCM. The second just had FvJ. I did ask a guy in electronics, but he just checked the new release rack and the Blu-ray rack and said that was all they had. Too bad - I was really hoping to pick up TCM.

Did this get an early release at Best Buy? Best Buy's site says that it's available at all of the Best Buys close to me.

Probably not. Wolverine also shows in stock at every store, and that's definitely not going to be out early. There's a small chance TCM may since the original release was 9/8. I'm stopping by after work to check.

If you look on the website it says release date 9/29/2009. It says its available probably because they received their shipment. It's not going to be in stores. I can't wait to see this movie!

I just picked this up at Wal-Mart (last one) while I wait for my $9.99 copy from Best Buy. I gotta say this title looks excellent! It blows my DVD copy out of the water. Talk about a detailed picture, this is sharp as a tack! It has a nice fine grain with no use of DNR or print damage from what I'm seeing! My only complaint would be the blacks could be more inky.. but my DVD copy has this look as well.. I'm fine as it appears to be the director's intented look and you can see a lot of shadow detail. Warner did a great job with this one which is something I CAN NOT say often about their encodes! The video compression seems great, I seen it maxing out at 44.9 mbps, it defaults to TrueHD and even has the PS3 movie icon thingamajob... I'm geeked!

My Walmart did not have TCM but they did have FvJ for $10, this is no go for me. I haven't watch the DVD in years, no need to waste the money on something I will only watch once.

I finally found TCM at a Wal-Mart. It was not on the Blu-ray display (which made me think they didn't have it), but sitting in a stack of movies on top of the display. They had four copies, although one had a damaged case.

OVERALL: 4.0 and of course this is my opinion!
