I liked the show though it kind of annoyed me that this spider man basically doesn't have a spider sense at all so far. I don't really mind him as peter Parker but I also found his dialog as spider man rather awful compared to almost any other spider man shows.
I liked Otto but tombstones whole arc was a disappointment. Like tombstone was basically perfect in spectacular spider man so this just feels like a waste of a character. Also the ending was rather terrible for Osborne story line. A company that hired you as interns had you invent things and use your inventions as pieces for bigger inventions. Its like the writers don't understand what being in a company inventing means. Its not even like he used their ideas to make weapons he was trying to make a transport system. Like if their was a problem with that specific test location strange should have said something but it worked out to wizards have a monopoly on fast travel which of course was received poorly. The stuff with Otto is a lot more damning but nobody but Osborne and Otto know about that stuff. Last edited by veritas; 02-20-2025 at 04:38 PM. |

Spectacular Spider-Man will always be my favourite animated show because it nails Spider-Man perfectly. For me, Spider-Man is at his best with;
Financial worries Great supporting cast Great action Balancing both sides of his identity Nuanced villains So FNS-M falls short of s-tier Spider-Man but it was still an engaging watch and has the scope to be even better in season 2. I thought X-Men 97 is the best the X-Men has ever been in any media other than the comics. |

I read this and I understood some of it but you contracted so many words down to just letters that I couldn't figure out what you were saying. |

I just finished the series and it was pretty good for what it was. Some interesting takes on some well-worn characters so that was nice. Some cool Easter eggs here and there were fun, but jeez, for some of the folks in here that didn't like it...grown ass adults getting so fired up over an animated series is just so wild to me.

If so, how does that fit in with continuity? Parker has clearly never met Strange before his encounter with him in the movies, and Daredevil would have just been starting out at that point, without his costume. |
