I picked both up but never watched them yet. I bought 8 Blu-ray titles today.

Yeah, I may wait for trilogy as well. I thought the 2nd one was good... note that my standards aren't set very high for these kinda movies...

I got both last week from DVDWorldUSA.com and it's bad news I'm afraid.

The PQ is really poor and I can't tell the difference between the DVD and Blu-ray with the second film. The PQ for the first film is slightly better than the DVD.

But it's not all bad... the audio is a knockout on both films. A big step up from the DVDs.

Being a big fan of the films, I'm glad I bought these on Blu-ray and although I'm very disappointed with the transfers.. the audio makes up for that!

I checked out Wrong Turn last night (the first one). The detail looks poor in the shots of the woods (like a DVD), but the shots of the actors look pretty good. Overall, the PQ is an improvement over DVD, but it's not on par with recent movies.
