Problems with Wolverine Digital Copy - Blu-ray Forum

I updated iTunes so that I could redeem the DC of Wolverine. Rebooted of course.

It only takes 4 minutes to upload to the laptop, sync to the iPod was normal. Yet, when I tried to play, it said it could not.

I went back to the iTunes on my laptop and tried to play it there. I have no sound, and just a grey screen. But it does have the chapters correct if I scrool through the time.

I have tried to delete and re-install three times now with the same results.

Is anyone else having this problem?

I was forced to update to itunes 9 to even redeem the code.
Currently I am installing this $4.95 update to 3.1.1 on the off chance that this will fix my problem.

Be glad you didn't pay $9.95 like I did. That 3.0 update for the Touch should have been free since it all it did was improve Safari's loading time, fix a WiFi issue, add cut & paste, and a landscape keyboard option. That stuff is not worth $10 let along $5! I mean half of that is "bug" and software tweeks.

And the supposed Bluteooth "addition" is BS. No mono headset support so you still have to tied to corded headphones. It only allows the Touch to use stereo BT headphones.

Oh, push notification? Great so long as I have my WiFi on all the time. Otherwise its pretty moot for a Touch to have it.

I agree it should be free. I figure I am wasting money on it since I have a first gen itouch anyways. I think I paid the 9.95 for the 2.1 update not all that long ago

I just don't understand why the DC is there but not there to see or hear...

Just tested my copy to see if there were any problems. Everything works fine on my iMac with iTunes 9. I only have a 1st generation iPod Touch but it loaded up and looks great on it.

Took 77 minutes to install the new 3.1 update but it worked!!! YAY!!! I am not sure why it would not play on the 2.1 version... but at least now it is playing!

It's all good. She got it taken care of. All she had to do was update to iTunes 9.0.
