I've a Blu-play. If not update firmware.

What's happen??

I have a Sony PS3 and free online for updates, so i don't think i have to worry. Good to know though!

blu-ray disk should work even without firmware upgrades. Disconnect from the Internet before inserting the disk. Without Internet and firmware upgrades you may not be able to use some features like BD-Live. It is okay (and probably better) without those features. Those give headaches to many people as discussed in major forums.

It is good to keep your PS3 up to date even blu-ray online features such as Live are not used. Do you have the latest 3.01?

Heyy Babyy & Om Shanti Om were eros blu rays and they worked perfectly on my ps3, So i shouldnt have a problem with the new releases!

Not to worry. You should not have any problems with any player as long as you are NOT connected to the Internet when you insert the disk. Make sure your Ethernet cable is not connected to PS3 and/or WiFi wireless is turned off in PS3. It is an option.

It is good to keep PS3 up to date due to other reasons. For example, recent 3.0 enabled configuring multiple audio options simultaneously.

That's okay as long as they have given us a pristine blu-tray movie. Hope it would be better than Sivaji.
