I’ve written Jon Mulvaney about the audio mix on the Opus BD and got the answer that it’ll have Dolby Atmos!

The recently released animated feature Flow, from Janus and Sideshow was just listed for pre-order on digital providers, the distributor is listed under Criterion on iTunes so I think it's very likely we will see a release under the Janus Contemporaries label on Blu-ray/4K sometime next year !
Or this could be a Drive My Car situation and it'll be under the mainline criterion collection

[Show spoiler]
I think Drive My Car will forever remain the odd man out. It was acquired prior to Janus Contemporaries' existence, at a time when the individuals involved with this Sideshow/Janus project probably had no idea what they intended to do outside of acquiring festival favorites for US theatrical distribution. Had the line existed at that time, DMC would have more than likely been given the same treatment as all of the others.

Anselm was digitally upgraded this past week from HD to 4K on Apple TV, and I think the others will eventually follow suit. As much as I'd like to be wrong, I can't see Criterion going out of their way and releasing any of these JC films on 4K or with any extras. I think they intend to have these films hit home video ASAP, hence the bare minimum that goes into them, which is rather unfortunate.

Secrets swirl beneath the surface of a remote Italian community in Maura Delpero’s exquisite wartime drama, winner of the Venice Film Festival’s Grand Jury Prize. In a majestic Alpine village touched only faintly by the upheavals of modern life, a strict schoolteacher’s family undergoes a profound shift when a mysterious Sicilian soldier arrives fleeing the front lines of World War II. As the seasons change, the family’s three very different daughters will each find their lives transformed. Blending historically grounded realism with painterly grace, Delpero draws from her own family’s history for an at once intimate and momentous vision of a world suspended between the patriarchal past and the stirrings of a new future.

  • Meet the Filmmakers, a new interview with director Maura Delpero

Quote:
A web of secrets, suspicions, and desires ensnares the inhabitants of an insular French village in this tantalizing comic thriller from ever-audacious auteur Alain Guiraudie. Returning to his rural hometown to attend the funeral of the mentor he loved, enigmatic, sexually fluid drifter Jérémie (Félix Kysyl) stirs up long-simmering feelings of lust, jealousy, and rage among those he left behind—including the dead man’s widow (Catherine Frot), her hot-tempered son (Jean-Baptiste Durand), and a curiously protective local priest (Jacques Develay) with whom Jérémie forges a twisted bond. Amid the evocatively earthy milieu, Guiraudie constructs a slippery, continuously surprising moral universe where love and hatred, eroticism and violence, spiritual grace and mortal sin, are intimately entwined.
