Paramount recently dropped a promo for new HD remastered versions of the entire series, it looks like they went back to the original negatives and remastered them from scratch. They already started airing internationally so a domestic upgrade on Paramount+ is likely to be expected soon.

and before anyone asks about the original music, it's been reported to me that they don't have the original music, but I'm not sure if it'll be handled the same way like it was on the DVD releases
