Wow that one’s even worse - the one I spotted is just like an auto-correct error.

I’m glad I’m not dependent on them but dreading if I have hearing loss in later life and still want to watch my movies. Especially with the rise of either AI or just not giving people long enough to do the job on streaming. There was a show on Disney+ called Wedding Season and because the app is terrible it kept playing with the subs on every time, and it was very obvious that if a person had written them it was a person who had never met an Irishman, or hell even anyone from outside the US, as the sub on the male lead were just incomprehensible

I would buy it in a second , What a fun underrated film . Hopefully it can get the 4 treatment like Breathless 4K just got , What a deluxe set the breathless is (huge) . I can see Hot Spot 4K like that too

Damn, should have checked out this thread before spending a pretty penny on a copy of the Radiance LE. How certain are we a 4K is inbound? Obviously Kino Insider mentioned the possibility, but every restoration has only been at 2K. Unless anyone's heard of a 4K restoration being worked on, I feel like it could be a long ass time before we see it come to the format.

Also, why Criterion or VS? Do they have an MGM partnership or have had the rights in the past or something?

I think it's inevitable at this point. It seems to have been a strong seller for all the labels that have released it thus far. And being an MGM title, a 4K remaster shouldn't prove difficult for anyone who chooses to take it on.

I own both the Kino and the Radiance LE and regret nothing. I'll still buy an UHD release day one
