Sonic Prime was just released on DVD by Madman.



Just wondering if anybody has this and how many discs are in the set? On JB it shows 5 discs on the cover and Madman as above cover shows 6 discs.

Personally, I'd import the Blu-Ray from overseas that's being release later this month.

Madman for some reason features the service or channel a show is on. They do the same with Doctor Who on Disney+ even though the U.S releases don't.

Madman is only the distributor in these cases, it is the company producing the ABC and BBC labels.

Not necessarily. Sonic Prime aired on Nickelodeon over here. The ABC just has rights to the home media and digital purchase releases. Madman just handles the distribution, but the release is done by the ABC and has an ABC catalog number. It's similar to how Warner Bros in the USA distributes Viz Media releases, or Shout Factory distributes GKIDS releases. Different licensors and different distributors.
