? about bluetooth on the 3rd gen touch - Blu-ray Forum

I will be ordering my 32gig in the next couple of days, but have a few ?'s for those that already have it. 1) can you use a blue tooth headset w/ it for the mic? and 2) can you use it as a remote for you ps3?

My friends brother has the 2nd gen and I guess he can use it for a remote for his tv, i believe. Or maybe he just controls the computer he has attached to his tv. Just curious if the above to ? are possible. Thanks

i know you can listen to music via bluetooh but the ps3 thing. never heard about that option.

The Bluetooth for the Touch is very limited.

It only supports stereo Bluetooth audio and it does not support handsfree profile. So you can listen to music with a stereo headset but you can't use it to make calls or record audio with a mono headset.

It also will not work as a remote for the PS3.
