SYNOPSIS

Academy Award® nominee Sharon Stone (1995, Best Actress, Casino) and Academy Award® winners Gene Hackman (1971, Best Actor, The French Connection; 1992, Best Supporting Actor, Unforgiven),
Russell Crowe (2000, Best Actor, Gladiator), and Leonardo DiCaprio (2015, Best Actor, The Revenant) lead a loaded cast in this reinvented American Western from writer Simon Moore and director Sam Raimi. A mysterious young woman (Stone) rides into the lawless town of Redemption to settle an old score that has haunted her since she was a child. She becomes swept up in a deadly quick-draw tournament and, in order to win her revenge, must compete in a contest in which gunslingers from all over put their lives on the line for fame and fortune.

We did just get Fury, and Gandhi before that, but it does seem like they’ve slowed down with the DV upgrades compared to how they used to pump them out.

Def want A Few Good Men, Moneyball, Close Encounters, Hook, Christine, and more.

They could have included the "International Version" .

A sex scene between Ellen (Sharon Stone) and Cort (Russell Crowe) was shot, but Stone and director Sam Raimi decided that it wasn't a necessary part of the story. The scene was not included in the American release of the film, but international versions do include it.

Yeah, that scene has been in the film on UK VHS, DVD and Blu-ray so any version that loses it or relegates it to the deleted scenes is a hard pass for me.

Yeah, I got this last year thinking they wouldn't upgrade it. Probably won't get this unfortunately.

I guess since Sony ported the old US 4K UHD disc to the UK and Australia in January and licensed the film in France, there is little chance of a Sony release with the international version. On the other hand, that disc doesn't have Dolby Vision and isn't in a SteelBook, so...
