Tariffs are going to be an issue for this. De minimis ends on August 29.

I was just about to order from YesAsia... If I understand correctly there will be a minimum $80-$200 duty on imports regardless of value. Is that correct? Is there any way to order these now?

I don't think so, the correct amount and description/info of the goods needs to be declared that includes the HTS codes (Harmonized Tariff Schedule) and declarations of origin so the Japanese item(s) gets the correct 15% tariff over the total amount. I'm thinking if an incorrect HTS code and goods value is declared then you may fall on that flat fee of $80-$200. proper documentations will be key here, EMS packages from Japan is a good example of proper documentation attached to the package. and there will be hefty penalties for people that will get caught trying to re-route packages to other countries to avoid tariffs.

My Thunderbolts steelbook will come via EMS (handled by USPS once in the US), i will stay away from DHL and FedEx for awhile.

Not necessarily. Anything under USMCA is still tariff free. I sell a lot of PVC products to the US and nothing is being taxed. Nobody was paying the 25% last month, nobody is paying 35% now but this is because my products are compliant and the US is still recognizing USMCA exemptions. It's different for Asia though as I know my business has been going up since US manufacturers can no longer source some types of raw PVC since it's made in Vietnam and the tariffs priced them out so they're coming to me.

Weird world I'm living in, I'm a Canadian with a growing business because of US Tariffs on Vietnam. US manufacturers are sending business my way which has NEVER happened until now

Snagged one from a Japanese ebay seller, like I did for CA.

Average price is $80-85... plus tax.

It's depressing to see all the negative reviews on Amazon Japan complaining about the inclusion of a 3D disc. I hope Disney isn't reading these. I think we all need to review-bomb the Amazon Japan listing and thank Disney for continuing to include 3D discs in Marvel releases.

I tried to leave a review, but they wouldn't let me because I "failed to reach the minimum requirements" whatever that means.

Amazon set a minimum spending to allow the consumers to leave reviews. If you don't meet the criteria you aren't allowed to comment on their website.

It isn't just amazonJP that enforces this. All amazons do it.

Not surprised, the good thing is Disney see the sales from other vendors as well not only Amazon JP.

Almost certainly not a disc that will sell well. The second worst performing theatrical run in MCU history behind only The Marvels. So for the handful of discs that do sell, Disney probably thought that adding 3D disc can increase their profit margin.

Comparing one Marvel title to another Marvel title as if it meant anything is disingenuous at best; this is still the most popular Hollywood movie franchise there is, and for good reason.

How is the 3D for this movie? Compared to other Marvel titles.

I thought it was pretty solid, not as good as F4 but still pretty good.

It's good, medium layers of 3D for most of the film, with some brief moments of stronger 3D layering. I don't remember many pop outs though. It's worth a watch in 3D.

-------------------------------
$75+ imported, that's expensive for any movie disc, but in 2025, one of the only real official options. Still better than no disc release at all. I do miss when Disney let Marvel fully support blu ray 3D in the US and Europe, etc. Trying to think of what the last release was in the US and Europe. It's been years. Maybe around 2019. Avengers Endgame 3D import from Europe, Germany, Italy if I remember. That was great as it was in the 35.99 price point or around there.

Fantastic 4, that is one of the best recent Marvel 3D conversions with medium to more strong 3D layers in the 2nd half. Some really epic 3D shots of Galactus.

If you can't compare one Marvel title to another then what can you compare it to?

Ultimately it doesn't matter how popular a franchise is, it's how much money it makes. Most franchises don't continue when they start losing money.

It's also a good idea to review the domestic releases to complain about the failure to include the 3D versions. We have almost no voice in these matters but those reviews will sit there for all to see.

Well, yes, but the MCU is the highest-grossing movie franchise there is, $10 billion in the last 5 years alone just from the box-office (and a lot more from merchandising).

Also, there’s already one new Spider-Man movie coming and at least two more Avengers films.

Spider-Man makes more money for Sony than he does for Marvel but they will make a nice amount from Brand New Day all the same I am sure. It's those Avengers films that need to make some money but with everyone knowing they can wait a few weeks to catch them on Disney+ I can't see how any Disney or Marvel movie can do the business they used to do before D+ existed.
