I was just wondering since both Zelda games got a Switch 2 version released, if Super Mario Odyssey would as well? I could definitely be wrong, but it did crossed my mind.

HDR, higher FPS, and sharper image is pretty much all I want. If they're going to charge for anything more than that, I'd prefer they not do more.

I really would have liked to see a Switch 2 version of Mario Odyssey with expansion pack/new content. Especially so given they opted not to release a 3D Mario early in the Switch 2 lifestyle. That being a said, the free Switch 2 upgrade for the Switch Mario Odyssey is pretty solid.

Funny how all these years later Mario Odyssey is STILL $60. I mean, I get the new import taxes imposed and stuff... but Canada and Europe have also NOT reduced the prices of the game, so the real reason is obvious. Money.

Yes, the lack of Nintendo Selects/Players Choice discounted games is concerning. Nintendo has been very strict with 1st party discounts.

Exactly. People nowadays are like "BUH BUH THE GAME VOUCHERS", which merely seems like some confusing ripoff service Blockbuster would've offered in the 2000s.

pretty sure most people don't think the vouchers are a good "deal", it's just a way to save $20 because Nintendo are too greedy to discount their games like other publishers they're actually a rip off in some cases, because you need an online subscription to buy one, AND to use it, so if your subscription expired before using it, you can't use it until you renew |

Also nice if you use the JP eShop, exchange rates have been really favorable. Slightly different selection over there, but the last time I used the vouchers it worked out to ~$72 ($36 per game). |

I'm done with game subscriptions though. PS+ just ran out, NSO expires in Jan, GP is "free" until Oct 2026 (thanks to MS rewards points I haven't paid since June 2019). I only play one game online and it includes a PC version, so I just don't see the point in subscriptions anymore. |
