Agreed. The first two were very fun IMO. The 3rd one was a major drop comparatively.

Not to sound like a broken record, but I REALLY hope they do this version some justice because it's look horrid on previous formats.

Dolby Vision and 100 GB disc are some surprises. I hope Paramount is going to release this overseas.

I recently bought the Paramount trilogy set. I'm glad about this because the HD masters on these discs are AWFUL. Wish studios would release trilogies at once instead of making us wait yearly.

Other than that, good. Dolby Vision-Atmos, BD-100, all extras. Couldn't ask for more. Yes, Paramount, release it in Europe.

How is Meet The Parents a quarter of a century old??

Feels like it came out a few years ago, featuring Robert De Niro being old again.

Interesting to see De Niro appears on the yak track. Getting him to talk about his films is normally like drawing blood from a stone…

I remember back in college in 2005 my friends I went to see the sequel in theaters. It makes total sense to me how this is 25 years old.

Any chance of the included blu-ray being remastered?

Or does Universal usually not do that?

Universal usually repackages older BDs.

Enjoy these movies and they were huge at the time. Hopefully it'll eventually get down to around ten bucks or less as I'm trying not to jump back into collecting and need to focus on what I already own. This one could definitely use a pq overhaul, though. Glad to see it released.

It's really too bad that they didn't include the Tribeca event.

Hopefully this coming week someone will get the 4K in hand and can post quick impressions. I'd like to buy this ASAP, but given the checkered history of quality on home video for this one...I'm on the fence.

Where are you seeing this? Are people receiving slipless copies or something?

Sure looks like a 66GB disc not 100GB, unless there is just a completely blank 3rd layer.

My copy arrived today. Popped it in for a few minutes. The movie starts with a close-up on Ben Stiller’s face, and it seems that it’s DNR’d, but the following scenes seem to have steady grain. I think the color looks great, but I am no expert. The film is on the softer side, so I would definitely wait on some reviews before purchasing if you don't love the film.

Both 40-year-old virgin and meet the parents came with a slip from Gruv!
