Any word on who is releasing this? I picked up the standard 88 already, but i wonder if this means a US release for AP2 and beyond will eventually happen.

Standard & Steelbook coming from Universal next month. It should mean AP2 is coming at some point as well.

Of course this happens after I imported the 88 release! I mean, the 88 release is excellent, so I'm not gonna complain too much.

Imported it as well. Glad I held off on the 2nd film which will likely come at some point next year.

I got that one, too! As well as their BD releases of 3, 4, and the DTV sequels.

If they release 4Ks of anything after 2, I'll likely double-dip. We shall see!

If 88 does a standard release of the second one, I'll order it instead of waiting for the Universal release.

Presumably they will. It was about a 3-month separation for AP1.

Wish they went with the original poster art. This artwork is ok. Will consider making a purchase. Would be nice to get steelbooks for all of them. We'll see what happens.

Will this not have both cuts of the movie? Just the unrated version? The gruv listing title says its unrated and the description doesn't make mention of it.
